Being a mainly 16th century building over three storeys, plus a tower, occupying a south-facing plot high above the historic village of Samoëns, between the church and the botanical gardens. There is approximately 450m2 of accommodation, with gardens spread over six tiers totaling 1500ms. The property was extended and partially modernised in 1972. The property then underwent a complete refurbishment by the current owners: new boiler, creation of ensuite bath/shower rooms in all bedrooms, replacing the kitchen and a full redecoration from 2006-2008.

The front door leads you into a spacious entrance hall with vaulted ceilings and separate coat storage room.
Dining room is large and  enjoys an ornate plaster ceiling and in turn leads into a bright and modern kitchen, installed in 2008. Main kitchen is arranged around a large central island and contains 4 Bosch ovens, American-style fridge freezer, 5-ring gas hob and Bosch dishwasher. It offers a vast array of storage and all work surfaces are of unpolished granite. The second back kitchen, has a further fridge and freezer, another dishwasher and a two ring ceramic hob. It has a small seating area and more storage. Off the back kitchen is a WC with wash handbasin. The kitchen opens onto a large south-facing terrace with views over the church.

Leaving the entrance hall by the original stone staircase, which winds through the house, on the first half landing is the smallest of the eight bedrooms with an ensuite shower room. Up again to the main living room area. Most of this floor is taken up with a series of three interconnecting living rooms. the current owners have arranged them as a progression of formality, the first being the most formal and the innermost room being a TV room/library/den. The fist two rooms are linked by a central arch, the second and third by a pair of arches either side of a double sided fireplace. The original chapel to the building is now used as a reading room, a bar, a laundry and WC with handbasin. At this level there is a door to the upper four tiers of the south-facing garden.

The second floor contains six of the remaining seven bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has an ensuite with a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi bath. It has a triple aspect to the south, north and east. It forms part of a two-room suite with a second bedroom with ensuite bathroom with bath with shower over. Three further bedrooms, two on the south of the building and one on the north have ensuites with bath/shower combinations and the seventh, south side, has a shower only. Also on the second floor there is a door to the garden. Plumbing and electricity to install a hot tub outside this door have been arranged. There is also a space for an outdoor swimming pool.

The landing here houses a small gym area, a sauna and a shower for those using the sauna. the tower bedroom is a mirror of the master bedroom below with a triple aspect and bathroom with walk in shower and Jacuzzi bath. The boiler room is below the house with external access only. There is also a double garage and two external parking places. All bedrooms have satellite TV as do both kitchens. The main TV room has a very new home cinema system. The house is wired for Ethernet throughout.
