The castle would be ideal for organising holiday stays and/or events. The Lot and Aveyron rivers offer the possibility of kayaking and other water sports, there are stables and a playground nearby. Many long-distance hiking trails (GR) used by pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela in the surrounding area. Charged with history, the castle has been awarded the "Historic Heritage" label and about thirty dolmens and burial mounds in the vicinity attest to the site's prehistoric origins. Located in the heart of the Quercy Regional Park, the castle is protected from any noise or visual pollution. In addition there is the possibility to purchase the Logis des Bordes which is offered separately but can be added to the overall package if required.

The entrance to the castle is through a large oak door with historic ironwork:
