On the ground floor, there are two double (or twin) bedrooms (which each have their own en-suite shower, wash-basin and WC), a large utility room (currently used as a ski boot room), a small utility room (currently used as a laundry room) and another large room which contains the sauna and shower. On the ground floor, there is also car parking for at least two cars and a ski locker, plus the outdoor hot tub.
The first floor consists of an open-plan kitchen, living/dining room with central fireplace and south-facing balcony and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The dining area is sufficiently large to house up to 18 people, and the balcony can also be used for outside seating/dining if the weather is good.
Stairs lead up to the top floor (which has under-floor heating throughout) which has three further bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms (double or twin).
The chalet is situated in the quiet, Savoyard village of Le Bettaix, which lies on the river Doron, and is a pretty, traditional village with a ski hire shop and a number of newer chalets, meaning that it is likely that further amenities (more shops, restaurant etc) should follow in the near future. You can ski back to the village (the run is fully snow cannoned) and the lift was upgraded in 2018 to give great access up into Les Menuires and subsequently beyond into the full ski domain.
In the summer, the Three Valleys transforms into a playground for summer activities, ranging from mountain biking, walking and white water rafting to kayaking, parapenting and fishing. Les Menuires (4km), Saint-Martin-de-Belleville (7km) and Val Thorens (9km) are all within easy striking distance
Le Bettaix is one and a half hours away from Chambery airport (110km) and two and a half hours from the major airports of Geneva (191km), Grenoble (191km) and Lyon (187km). In addition, le Bettaix and Les Menuires are 30 minutes away from Moutiers, which is where the Eurostar / TGV from London and Paris stop for the Three Valleys.
